I'm sure everyone is excited to play this chapter due to that dreadful cliffhanger the devs left us with in chapter 12 so here it is! This is going to be a long post regarding the development, progression, and whatnot so feel free to skip to the download links if you want to.

I got to say this though, the economic downturn has gotten me taking hit after hit and it's left me reeling quite badly, so making this game has been a really good outlet and opportunity to get away from everything. So everyone who has supported or is supporting us, I sincerely and utterly thank you from the bottom of whatever I have pumping blood inside of me. Making games has been a dream for us as well, so I hope we grow enough to do better and more extensive games in the future.

Okay, regarding the update:

Let's start by saying this was an extremely challenging chapter to make and it managed to teach me a thing or two and also made us realize how much room we could still grow in, so that's awesome; we'll definitely continue to do so!

Apologies for the delay once again, I feel like I'm saying this a lot, but I do mean it. The reason the delay happens is because of "my want" to present the game to you as best as I could, although I need to change scheduling fixed dates because I know it gets annoying when they're not met.

So, what happened? Chapter 13 is massive, chapters 11 and 12 were already sizeable but still, see the comparison below:

Chapter 11:  826 renders, 13 animations
Chapter 12: 712 renders, 13 animations
Chapter 13: 895 renders, 51 animations!

Discarded renders and animations are excluded and there are a lot.

Yes, the story is written; the whole storyboard is set from start to finish.
However, when the final writing of the scenes that are to be set in the chapter is being made, I start getting more ideas, I start having more fun; then momentum leads to expansion of the scenes. I'll post a somewhat more detailed explanation of this in the behind-the-scenes section.

The storyboard for chapter 13 wasn't that long, it was at least equal to the 2 previous chapters but poof it became that way, and not to toot my own horn but I love how this chapter turned out, I hope you do too. What's got me slightly nervous is hoping I could match this chapter's quality or surpass it, but I do have more cards up my sleeve, so ease that worry.
