Chapter 22 - Those Who Shape Us

Surprise! Nope, 23 is not out yet, soon though. It's addressed in the exclusive posts.

I've been mulling this over and decided that if the succeeding chapter isn't released in a month's time, then I'll make a public release around the 5th week. Chapter scheduling is still the same, but sometimes I need some extra time.

A few changes between this and the previous version:

-Added gallery.
-Added a screen at the end with Miho to redirect users to our pages.
-Added Manic_umbra to the wall of fame. Thank you.
-A few edits here and there on the dialogue

That's about it, there's not much to address in this post towards the exclusive supporters since I just did that a couple of days ago.

About this chapter: I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I hate working with skirts. The rest of the summary of what is in the chapter can be viewed below in the Chapter Update Section.

Technical Updates

-Added a rename feature on the settings menu, this is mostly added for users whose in-game name in MTWY gets turned into none.

-Removed the Franklin Gothic Font from the fonts used in MTWY and added the Din Font.

-Added a new Akemi main menu slide as per poll suggestion.

Chapter Update

Around 1560 Renders and 31 animations
5k+ lines of cod

This is essentially almost 2 chapters long, cause I, wanted to convey what I needed to in said chapter and not wanting to leave anything out. Big-big update, as I've stated, the majority of MTWY's cast will appear in this new chapter along with the introduction of an extremely important one. I had to design, re-design and edit a lot of models, maps, and scenes. Apart from the usual writing, rendering, and animating. It was a fun chapter to make but highly exhausting. It was just one group scene(not that kind of scene) after another, along with the recent GPU mishap I've encountered. I've noticed a few clippings during the final edit that I couldn't address, but this release is long overdue so I will address those later on. Likely be in a few days along with the wallpapers I need to follow up on.

Anyway, this is the first chapter I've had in a while that I've released that I didn't have any doubts about what I did, the last time was at ch13. I just had this nagging feeling every release since then if I had done all I could or should have I done it in another way. Also, this is the first chapter since chapter 8 that I didn't have a clear favorite scene. It's 5 am and I'm rambling, also there was this one particular scene that I wanted to make sure I made as best as I could.

Dev's Rant

I decided to remove the rant about the difficulties we had during this chapter's development, rather I'd like to use this part to thank one of our Patrons, Manic_Umbra for the GPU donation when mine broke down. Words are not enough to express my gratitude.
