Chapter 21 - The One Who Loves You The Most

So, let me first say that the schedule hasn't changed, but the exclusive release was leaked, and I can't stand the idea of having most of the edits ready but being unable to show them off.  So we had to rush the rest of the edits like madmen to push through, but they were due post-Ch22's exclusive release and alter our schedule a little, which will definitely cause a little delay on Chapter 22.

With the edits made while working on the succeeding chapter, Chapter 21 racks up a total of 1410ish renders. A few scenes were expanded a little, but not much.  This is the first time that our latest chapter has been leaked, so we were unprepared to deal with it at a moment's notice, but rest assured, we'll be fine if it does occur again.

Also, there are a few edits that have been done to Book 2, as I have mentioned, as I am a firm believer that visual novels are "shown, not told." Here's a list of where the edits were made in case you want to check those out:

-Ch14, Transition from Kanehana's pool scene to Yukine's night office scene.

-Ch16, How Iroha and Hikari met, after MC and Kanehana's talk at the beach during sunset

-Ch17, The car trip back home, small scene.

-Ch19, Akiro telling MC how he wooed Kyouko during their fishing time

-Ch20, Akemi tells MC how their father taught them how to swim.

For Chapter 21, there are a few edits that didn't make it to the first release of the chapter:

-Post-chapter scene, this was hard to decide upon since I'm conflicted about whether it will diminish the impact of FMC's end scene with Akemi, but since there's a lull in between with Miho closing the chapter, I went for it. For those who are done with the chapter, it's coded in a way that they won't miss it even if they wait for the next chapter before checking it out.

-More emphasis on how Yukine was inept at communicating romantically.

-Sound effects, transitions, etc. We were planning to work on Bot's sound effects more, but the leak happened. That's another thing for the backburner.

-FMC staring at MC's portrait in Hikari's bedroom.

So as you can see, a lot was worked on and made better (not revised) while pushing for the next chapter, after all, Rome wasn't built in a day, and it was all set to be in the public release, but we all saw how that turned out.

Regarding the tier change, this has actually been quite an eye-opener; so with all this in mind, here's the revised release schedule for MTWY.

Diamond - Silver - Upon Exclusive release

Bronze - 14-15 days after Exclusive Release

Public - No change.

Added Perk to Tier

Diamond - Suggesting Com Break Render per chapter, granted that it's possible to make it canon and it's within MTWY's theme.

If you're leaning toward the fanservice in our game, sadly, there's none in this chapter. A little heads up to those peeps now. It's too story-driven, with not many choices in it either, but it's more of a culmination of the choices that were made during the previous chapters; so no walkthrough is required, will update that on the 22nd chapter.

This chapter has been writing itself since MTWY started, and that was extremely tricky to write around but nonetheless fun. While this chapter was still only in my head, I was thinking how awesome it would be once I finally turned it into an actual chapter, and it's extremely A-W-E-S-O-M-E.
