To the public, thank you, we're absolutely grateful for the patience and faith you have shown in our project, especially with the change of schedule on our public releases. This took waaaayyy longer than I expected, but I assure you that not a day that passed for this build was ever taken for granted. It really came to a point for me that as I review book 1, I say to myself, "MF, you are hard to look at."

I grossly underestimated the editing phase, which was the most brutal. E.G. I expected the smoothing of the transitions between renders and animations to take 1 hour per chapter, but it took 3–4 hours each, depending on the chapter. Anyway, I'm sure you don't want me to go on and on about what delayed us when you didn't even ask. So let's move on to Book 1:

- 95% of it was re-rendered, with only Chapter 11 halfway touched (removed clippings, horrible shadings, unbalanced textures).
- Changed the transition effects, the fade and dissolve transition effects between renders were extremely inconsistent.
- Rewrote Miho's intro a little, since Post-Ch9 fans won't get the first few lines.
- Rewrote dialogues; no changes to the story; but I did close a plothole. It's *not* even slightly important to the essence of the story, but it's annoying once you notice it.
- Adjusted UIs
- Adjusted the code so the "Can't play Book 2" doesn't happen anymore

Anyway, to the main reason why the re-rendering took place. This process definitely helped. It was menial enough that I managed to keep writing and writing; which also ate time. Whenever an idea comes, I drop whatever I was doing in the current chapter and write instead. I had a huge smile on my face the whole time; it was enjoyable.

Anyway, onwards and upwards, then; we're back to releasing chapters regularly, and there's absolutely no reason to go back anymore. So, I'll give a quick lay of the land about MTWY's direction in the following order:

>> Before chapter 30 we'll hit book 3 which is a separate game again and will contain Lost Time and the ending.

>> Then MTWY after and Short Stories(OVAs)

>> Big closing chapter.

>> After all that is done, I'll merge all of them together into one game.

By my estimate, MTWY will be complete by Q3 of next year (but everyone knows my estimates suck).
